What is RatPool?
A real-time multiplayer 2D arena shooter. Build a sewer rat, join a pool and fight up to thirty-nine other players. Finish in the top three by score to win a share of the pool.
Is it free to play?
Yes. Free Play costs nothing and the pistol is yours forever. Weapons you buy in the store work in Free Play too, and you can switch between them mid-match. Free Play is you against bots, any time.
Staked pools are optional, for when you want your skill to earn.
What is devnet and test USDC?
RatPool runs on Solana devnet, a test network. Stakes and payouts use test USDC, not real money.
Do I need crypto experience?
No. Sign in with Google and play like any other game. Your wallet is created for you by Privy, a wallet provider, and nobody at RatPool holds your keys.
Want extra security? Back up your wallet's private key from your Profile and keep it somewhere safe.
Is it pay-to-win?
No. Everyone in a pool stakes the same, and the shop only sells weapons with real trade-offs. Skill decides the fight. The store never sells a bigger share of the pool.
Does my progress carry over?
Yes. Your rat, every weapon you buy, your settings and your record follow your Google account on every device.
